Responsible for development and execution of new business generation and brand-building initiatives, client services, creative direction and community outreach. Managed a $250,000.00 budget and team of 4. Client work included:

  • Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, Blue Mountain Lake, NY
    • Increased fundraising/development by 10% overall with 3% from new donors.
    • Moved donor files to a digital database and trained the organization how to use the data to increase communication, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
    • Redesigned, developed, and launched a new website for the organization, including online ticketing that increased pre-sale tickets for events by 30%. Tickets sales before this were never pre-paid.
  • OhSoLocal (www.ohsolocal.com), Syracuse, NY
    • Designed and developed a fully functioning mobile app for Android and iOS. Communicated and marketed the app to relevant audiences throughout New York State and trained sales reps to sell the app to potential advertisers.
    • Responsible for strategic brand management and corporate identity. Ensured brand messages are consistent, engaged with new/existing customers on social media, gathered and analyzed customer feedback, nurtured and enriched all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share.
  • Free Community Papers of New York, Inc. (FCPNY), Syracuse, NY
    • Worked with member publications throughout New York State to train sales reps on digital technologies, including online web advertising, social media advertising, and search engine marketing.
    • Advised publishers across New York State with digital transitions and strategic planning.
  • CrestHill Suites Company, LLC, East Syracuse, NY
    • Created a digital marketing/advertising campaign that increased room bookings and occupancy by 28% from leisure and business travelers. The campaign included digital display ads, search marketing, social media advertising, and website optimization.
    • Created a market overview by property including share and competitive position. Analyzed market trends and recommended changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
    • Managed and improved lead generation campaigns, measuring results. Established strategies to identify and convert leads to new business working very closely with the sales team.
